Shell Plus Package A

Imagine your log home looks completely finished on the exterior. Windows, Exterior doors, Locksets, Patio doors, Deck, Shingles, Soffit, Fascia, Stain, even the stone on the fireplace chase is included. On the inside of the home all the lumber for the partition walls and even the rough stairway materials are there, ready to call the plumber and electrician in. Our Shell Plus Package actually includes more than many other companies do in their so called “Complete” Packages.

Another package is our Basic Shell or "S" package. This is a stand alone package and really has nothing to do with the "A", "B", and "C" package we covered earlier. Our Basic Shell package is less inclusive than our other packages and you will need additional materials to complete your project. When comparing packages from one company to another, most people agree our Basic Shell package is most similar to what the other companies are offering.

For those people, our engineered Basic Shell Package is a great choice as it includes the exterior wall logs and the primary structural components of a log framing package.

Note: If you are financing your new log home be aware that plain "Shell Packages" are not "Banker Friendly" due to the fact that bankers prefer only to finance complete homes.

Common Question: My Golden Eagle Log Homes printed brochure has Deluxe Package Specifications, are they different than the complete package?
Answer: Yes... The 2011 Complete Package has evolved into what most customers want, which is different than the 2010 Deluxe Package.

Question: The new 2011 plans seem slightly different than the old 2010 plans, is that true?
Answer: Yes... The 2011 plan specifications are improved to include the features that today's customers are looking for.
